Because we seek to make our competition as fair as possible we have drawn up a list of rules.
ARTICLE COMPETITION RULES
1. All submissions should be made at least 3 days before the end of any current month so that all the articles can be published simultaneously at the beginning of the next month.
2. Written Articles should try to contain at least 900 words plus.
3. Video articles must be produced and owned by the person submitting it.
4. All images must be in JPEG, GIF or PNG format. Special care must be taken to include the image source, and not to infringe copyright on image submissions.
5. No articles of any kind may infringe existing copyright regulations. We reserve the right to add to, or change any rules at any time.
We are flexible on all points except where the fairness of the competitions or matters of legal compulsion apply.
Special flexibility and enthusiasm will be shown towards those articles that fit in best with this website's themes...
...so it's best to read the eponymous articles (i.e. A.B.C. Of Freedom). For an example of what we want see the special feature article 'Freedom' by Carley Hayes (it's not 900 words, but it's perfect).
The articles which will be successful submissions and will be published here will be on the themes of freedom and dictatorship, plutocracy and liberty, or scientific adventure or misadventure, articles on the supernatural or anything fortean.
Oh, and don't forget to use a spellchecker before you submit.
